350Z trans adapter?
Has anyone seen the site where they say you can do a cheap 6 speed conversion to our cars with there 350z 6 speed transmission adaperter plate? I looked up the transmission and they go for as low as $400 but you have to get one over the year 2004 because they were pretty much a ticking time bomb. the adapter plate is 400 itself so for around the price of a R154 swap u could have a 6 speed. and a shop has there Z pushin 1200hp on the stock trans so it seems capable. Just wondering if anyone has done this swap before

there was a guy from FL who recently made a post in a previously asked thread regarding the same...
unfortunately he mentioned that he also sells these kits and the thread was removed.

1uzswap.com has them. I read that the syncro issue is very very bad with early model 03-04 6 speeds but after those years nissan fixed the problem and the trans were basicly bulletproof. I want a 6 speed but for god sakes i dont wanna pay 4500 for a getrag alone then supra 6 speed rear end and driveshaft. this is a cheap alternative and i believe eventually i will be buying this kit. wether i Turbo by GE or swap for a 1JZ. they also make adapter plates for T56 transmissions but i think it was for the 1UZ only

Ok i will shine some light since I'm doing this to mine. 1uz to z33 trans
I'm using the flywheel from a toyota 4 runner 3vz (modded slightly)
Clutch disc: nissan sr20 / 300zx / 350z etc.. all them will fit the input spline
Pressure plate: mr2 turbo
Throw out bearing needs a spacer (seems to release the clutch but i haven't driven the car yet)
You need an adapter to fit the pilot bushing (very simple)
custom transmission cross member (trans mount from a 300zx or 240sx is the easiest)
Drive shaft: you will need a slip yoke from either a 350z or a nissan titan and have a shop either weld it to your oem drive shaft or make a new 1 pc
Shifter assembly sits far back so you will need to cut it and re weld it about 4 inches ( or buy the custom bracket which $200)
I'm not done but that's what i found out first hand so far. There is very little info out there and that's why its taking me so long to complete. I bought so many parts that were not necessary.
