Everything I have found and from experience as well, anything with polyester will scratch the clear coat with very fine scratches. I have to ask why do all the car parts places sell everything from car wash mitts, to microfiber towels that contain mostly polyester? All the real detailers if they are knowledgeable would use only true 100% cotton, as it will not scratch the paint or clear. Does anyone make a 100% cotton microfiber towel? I suppose it can't be done with cotton?

If they are fussing about the thread used to edge or sew together a T shirt ??
