Default Can this be buffed out?

Hello Paint/Detail Specialists!

I have a 99 GS400 Black/Black. When I took the car to get washed, I noticed that the paint had little speckles of white on it. It is not only on the vehicle body, it is all over the rear window, roof, trunk, bumpers etc.

It does not look very noticeable from far but if you look closely, it looks like the car sat next to a paint booth and got white overspray all over it.

I tried to put some detailing wax on parts of the trunk to try and buff it out, but it seems I am not able to remove it.

Will the car need a new paint job? Can this be "buffed" out by the pros with electric buffers and maybe clay bar?

What are my options?..You think my insurance will cover the re-spray?

Thanks
FLip

Can you post some pictures flip? Wax will not remove anything on the paint as it's not an abrasive. A light polish usually is a good starting point. Was the car wash near a body shop or were there any buildings being painted around you?

Without seeing what's actually on the car, it's hard to recommend a solution. If it is paint overspray, then most likely a good clay will remove it.
