Condensation in headlights & I have ?'s about warranty
Both of my headlights in my 06 gs have condensation. My car is lowered and the plastics under the fender are gone and i also have aftermarket hids installed. My question is will the dealer warranty my lights or will they try and blame me for the condensation.
Put back the OEM lights and give it a week or so to see if they still condense.
if it has condensation then something wasn't put back correctly. even after u put the stock bulbs back in, they will go on about the splash shields missing.
check the screw cap that goes over the HID bulb and make sure its tight. if not, tighten it but make sure there is no sign of condensation, otherwise u will be trapping the water/condensation in the headlights.

I took my car in to the dealer today. They said they cant find any condensation in the headlights. They ran it through the carwash and pressure washed the headlights and could not see any water in the headlights.
The service advisor tried to come up with every excuse why my headlight weren't covered under warranty. The service guy that looked at the car told me to bring the car back when there is condensation in the headlights and they will warranty it. He said that my wheels, being lowered and plastics under the car has nothing to do with the headlights and nothing voids the warranty.
It should rain in the next couple days so i will take it back and see what they say

You got a cool guy, if I was the service advisor I would have mentioned that. lol. I sometimes dont get why they make a big deal about it when they get paid for the labor anyways.
