Default GS350 vs. GS460

Whats the difference on the drive? Obviously the 460 holds more power but is it smoother?.

460 is probably a bit smoother due to weight, power, and torque.

it's smoother coz' of 8 speed, the suspension might be better coz' of avs. braking is different coz' of EBC, and coz' of the engine tq the ride will probably be smoother / quieter

it is definitely more smooth, I just test drove in my friend's GS350, the ride is actually more stiff than the gs460.

it almost feels like the GS460 when using the AVS on sport's mode.

I have to disagree. AVS Sport mode stiffens the shock dampening...alot more so than the stock GS350 shocks. I have driven them all. GS300 RWD/AWD, GS350 RWD/AWD, GS430 and GS460.

I traded a 2006 GS 300 AWD for the GS 460...the 460 is clearly more powerful and rides much smooher....I thought the ride in the GS 300 was great until I experienced the 460...by the way, so far mpg is about the same....go for it!!!

The GS350's weight distribution is 52% front and 48% back, I cant find any spec on GS460's weight distribution, but I bet is more heavy in the front.

53/47 for the 460 is better than I though it would be. So, given that the weight distribution is pretty much the same. The only difference would be the AVS, which is nothing more than shocks. All the other suspension components are the same right. When I test drove the 460, there was a little diff. in ride quality with the diff. shock settings, but not that much. The bigger diff. was when I push the 460 on turns.

I know about those diff., but only the AVS and the APSSS can affect the ride quality and not too many people have the APSSS.
