For those of you with new GS350s, but with the 6.1 NAV DVD, did your clock reset for Standard Time change yesterday -- mine didn't. It was set for automatic and the correct time zone. I wonder if the 6.1 DVD was set to change last week, and I happened to pick up my car on Sunday (a week ago) so it had already reset?
Keep in mind the DST is an option in your navi. You have to manually turn that on/off just in case the rule for changing DST is changed (i.e. this year).
Speaking of, nope mine didn't.
I had to select manual, and set it myself.
On to a second issue.
When I do the touch screen volume button hack I can go to the maint. screen. On one of those screens it has a clock screen. It has, hour/minute/second/month/date/year.
It allows me to change it, but then when Iselect ok, exit out of it, then go back to it, it hasn't changed at all.
My question is this, what is this internal clock page? What's its purpose and what does it relate to?
And why didn't my AUTO change automatically when DST happened?

Mine didn't either. Not this weekend and not the weekend before. It seems like the auto is not working!

The touch screen volume button hack works for you?!!! It does nothing for me!
There is no auto option for daylight savings time...
The "on" and "off" are not for automatic switching. It's simply to turn the DST on or off. Keep in mind the rules for changing the DST varies. (i.e. they changed it this year) and some countries don't use DST. It would be problematic to have the car change DST automatically since everytime the rule changes, it needs to be updated.

What happens then if it says "DST "On"", and its 9:20, and then you change it to "DST Off", does it change to 8:20?
Yes it worked for my 2007 GS350. I wanted access to the outgoing Bluetooth volume setting.
Yes this works on my 07 GS350 as well. I get a different looking Screen, but I was in a 'Service Mode' Screen that I have never been in before.
I went to the Menu and saw all sorts of stuff. Did not know what any of it meant, but if someone finds anything of value here, please let the forum know
Edit: - Oh I have the 6.1 Nav as well!

Is it safe to play around with those other options?! I'm wondering if there is a navigatin hack buried somewhere in there? Like what is navigation check?
