1JZ Single Conversion Coolant & Vacuum Questions (With Pics)
Hey guys I'm starting to convert to Single and need help figuring out where some vacuum lines and coolant hoses go... 1jz NON vvti
This one used to be connected to the stock twins and runs around behind the block and was wondering if i can just connect it to the location next to it where the unconnected one is
2nd, this is the vacuum hose that also ran to turbo side to the stock twins, wondering where it goes for single swap...
And lastly, the IACV.. Are most of you guys just putting breathers on it or what? Also if anyone has any close up pics of their Manual boost controllers I also need to figure out where that goes.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!
_Tom

Where is the other end of that small hose that goes behind the block? I didn't have anything like that on my car, but I have a JZA70 swap, not a JZZ or JZX...Regarding the vacuum/boost hose on intake, I plan to T that and use it to feed my boost gauge and BOV. My MBC is installed on the shock tower ready to be plumbed, but has no pressure lines run yet. Finally, I plan to just run breathers on my VC and IACV.
BTW, is this for your Cressida? Didn't I just buy some injectors from you?

Hmmmm...Here is what mine looks like and where things go:
The red arrow fed the twins and got hacked off and welded shut.
The blue arrows indicate heater core pipes and are connected directly with heater hose now.
The green are vacuum lines that are no longer used, as I removed the entire hard line crossover at the back of the head.
Here is a bad shot of the welded shut coolant line.

I don't have a 1jz, but if you have a coolant line coming into the turbo's and one going out, you should be able to just connect the 2 pipes together with some coolant hose to maintain the proper flow. either that or you have to block off both sides, but if the in and the out lines are next to each other I would just loop them. maybe someone has done this already.
