Default Need my Daizen Control Arm Bushing kit installed.

Greetings all.

I have these sitting around for a few years and looking to install these. Anyone knows of a shop that has installed these and also at what price.
Old bushings will need to be pressed out.
Thanks,
Bill

actually you can just drill/destroy your old bushings to get them out (minus the casing).
to get the new ones in several members have had success with keeping them in the freezer for a while so they shrink a little bit, and then they were actually able to slide them in with some grease or something like that. crazy right? a press is a luxury most DIY'ers don't have.
I think most shops can tackle this with a press pretty easily. probably charge an arm and a leg though.

You cannot press these bushings out. The control arm is situated in such a way with the bushings come out that the press will not physically fit. You basically have to destroy the damn things. That's why you can do it yourself with a torch or an air hammer. The bushings go into the arms by hand! The only one you might have trouble with is the big one (getting it back in).

I should be doing this on Sunday. I bought a torch kit for 20 bucks from the local hardware store and a wire brush drill attachment. Also have a fire extinguisher for good measure. should be pretty fun.

Have fun I tried doing this for my upper control arm on the GS and managed to tweak it.

lol, Saturday evening I broke my oil feed line (accidentally leaned my arm against it while putting my turbo heat shield back in). So I couldn't move the car to work on it. Hopefully this weekend or the next I can do it. will keep you guys updated.

Attempted the bushings this weekend, decided i didn't have enough time to get the job finished so i just replaced the shocks. Thought the uppers would be easier to take out but looks like they will be getting the torch as well.
