BS.... Go to a dealership with this & reality will hit you fast. Take this "slick deal" to any Mercedes dealer in NYC for example you will be laughed right out of the building.. This made my Friday

Several people in that thread have duplicated the results. I'm sure it doesn't work at all dealers but obviously it's working with some dealers. People on that forum don't screw around... they're all business. If they say they got the deal, they did.
I got a hell of a deal on my 335i. So good of a deal that before I actually got it but while I was working up the numbers I got a very similar response to yours from a lot of people on the 335i forums. Guess who was laughing when the papers were signed.

i posted in that slickdeals thread a few weeks ago. i was able to get $21k off msrp. i needed a new DD and picked up a brand new E550. my dealer in florida actually gave me this deal and located the exact car i wanted on the other side of the country. im sure for instock cars, the deals were even better. and this was without the usaa discount which would have ben another $4-5k off. MB had a lot of trunk money on the W211 cars at the time, plus dealers selling for under invoice and giving the customer the holdback money just to get the 09's off the lot. i doubt there are many more 09's left in the country now.

How much did you pay for it out the door? Out the door meaning after taxes, fees, etc. how much was out of your bank account after you bought it?
