Polyurethane sway bar bushings
We have some direct replacement polyurethane sway bar bushings available for use with the stock sway bars. These will improve handling noticeably without affecting the ride quality.
29 bucks so it definitely won't break the bank!!!
Email me directly if anyone is interested... todd@tmengineering.net

Todd,
Are these the Daizen Sport bushings? Anybody used them? Won't do me any good with my TRD sways, but would be interested how they do as an interim step for those folks waiting for the slow boat.

Yes sir, them are them!
You are correct, this is a good interim, or a simple upgrade for anyone not wanting to spend 500-600+ for a full sway bar upgrade.
They definitely offer a noticeable increase in handling, so it's not some pseudo-psychological product...heh.
Actually, I think they are contemplating making urethane upgrade bushings for the TRD bars as well! These are only rumors I've heard though so :P

The TRD ones come with their own bushings (which they would have to, since they are a different diameter than the stock bars).
The problem is that the bushings they come with are the same rubber material as the OEM bushings (probably made in the same place...), which doesn't allow the bar to work at its maximum efficiency.
A good analogy would be like putting all kinds of stuff on your engine and then leaving the stock exhaust system in place. Sure it will make more power, but it cannot be maximized unless all weak links are addressed.
Anyways, this was only talk from the last I heard, so it's nothing to concern yourself with either way I guess............

Umm yes they would be better, but they don't exist!
Perhaps in the future they will be produced, but I think there are no plans at the moment...
