Would probably cost less to buy tipps of your liking and have the muffler shop chop off your stock mufflers right after the flange but from experience if you're planning to go low the flange is just a chunk of metal that gets in the way and makes noise.
FYI my 5.5 oval tips fit the stock bumper cut outs perfect...

Thanks for the information. I thought about cutting my oem mufflers off and leaving the cuved pipe and flange but didnt have the heart to chop it kinda wanted to keep a oem setup on the side incase i ever decide to sell the car. Are you happy with the sound? 5 1/2 inch tips ?! Wow thats huge! Cutting my factory piping may be my only option than or source out some another factory setup and cut those

you can find some straight piping all over yahoo auction that bolts to the flanges but its almost at the price of a cheap exhaust

It sounds better than my first set up when I left the mufflers in and removed the resonators. Had those welded back in and removed the mufflers, not completely satisfied though migh have an x pipe welded in! I do like the clearance it provides though for sure!
