Default do springs work w/ 19" fat setup?

I need help from yall with the 245/40/19 275/35/19 setup. I have no suspension mods yet. Im considering the h-tech's bc of the 1" drop with slightly more in the front. It seems great for the price. Would I need new shocks? Any tein problems? Any body have pics of similar set ups? and whats the best way to get rid of the inner rear fender lip thats rubbing now? Thanks!

Springs will work fine in a fat setup. It would be better if you got new shocks that are matched to the springs otherwise they will wear faster. It's rubbing with no suspension mods? I never rubbed with my 19's with fat setup before I dropped it. Unless your offset is pretty agressive. Hopefully Rominl or Neo will pop in here with a better reply.

The springs should work but like BC said, the shocks will wear a bit faster. It does not mean that your shocks will go in 1k miles, 5k miles, ... It just means faster than it would have with the OEM shocks. It is hard to say. The ride and handling will also be a little suspect as the spring rate and shocks may not work optimally. Notice that there are a lot of mays and mights since it all depends on the current condition of the components, the roads you drive on, your driving style, your sensitivities, ...

As for the lip, depending on how bad the rub is, rolling or cutting are the two methods. What are the offsets? 9.5 with 275s and already rubbing. Hmm.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, it does rub but only in the rear on the pasenger side. The tire on that side sticks out a little further than driver side does. It is actually cutting into the tire on the side wall were the tread pattern ends. Not too bad yet. Maybe I need a rear alignment . Is this different than a regular alignment ? bc the car drives fine and has never pulled in either direction.

I used to have the Daizen springs (1.9, 1.7), L-Tuned shocks, and staggered 19"(38F, 45R). I had no rubbing...........
