Lexus LC 500 Speaks Volumes in New Goodwood Hill Climb Ad
Remember back in late June when we were gawking over the raw footage of the yet-to-be-released Lexus LC 500 tearing up the hill climb at Goodwood? Well, as awesome as that was, it’s nowhere near as good as the professional footage.
Lexus recently dropped the exhilarating LC 500 commercial below, which was beautifully filmed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this summer. If you’ll recall, that’s where Lexus’s new halo car made its dramatic European debut. Of course, it wasn’t just your average pretty-car-on-a-rotating-stage debut, but an all-out sprint up the historic hill.
The best part of the commercial is that it really doesn’t require any words, since the LC 500’s naturally-aspirated, 471-horsepower V8 tells you everything you need to know. But unlike the raw footage from the event — or the video we recently saw from the Nurburgring for that matter — the commercial has the added bonus of being shot and edited by the pros, who are paid big bucks to make it look as beautiful as it sounds.
Which isn’t actually that hard to do with a car as striking as the Lexus LC 500, right?
