Just two days after the LF-C2 made its splashy debut at the LA Auto Show, Motor Trend is reporting that Lexus brass has pulled the plug on the sexy drop top. Yup. This is means we won’t see an RC Convertible.

Lexus revealed its LF-C2 Concept in spectacular fashion this afternoon at the LA Auto Show. Lexus fans already had a good idea of what the sleek 2+2 roadster would look like–thanks to the 72-hour sun-kissed strip tease campaign–but seeing vehicles in person is always more revealing of beauty–or faults.

Scooters. Every year at SEMA, there are more people on lame little powered scooters. And you can understand why, given that the CL crew managed to walk over 14 miles per day. That said, the ladies were pretty as ever.

From the pictures which have been released of the LF-C2, the new Lexus concept looks almost like it could roll into production tomorrow. But the steering wheel has a real future feel to it. Can’t wait to see it in person tomorrow.
