Thus, we can take a look at the luxury brand's new product showcase and get a sneak peek at its future.

Pioneer

First up, we have the redesigned 2023 RX, a model that pioneered the luxury crossover segment when it launched more than 20 years ago. Today, Lexus has redefined what the RX means to guests with the global reveal of the all-new RX at the Lexus New Product Showcase.

Totally Redesigned

As the first luxury brand to offer a hybrid in the segment, it’s only fitting that Lexus RX returns with a variety of electrified powertrains. The 2023 RX, the fifth generation for the core model, is completely redesigned from the wheels to the roof rails, featuring a new global platform, two all-new grades, available Digital Key, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, and Lexus Interface Multimedia System.

First of Many

Next up, we have a very important new vehicle in the Lexus lineup - the all-electric RZ. As its first global BEV model, the all-new RZ marks Lexus' transition into a BEV-centered brand, and it embodies the unique vehicle design and driving experience made available through advanced, electrified technology.

Driving Signature

The utilization of a BEV-specific platform (e-TNGA), as well as a lightweight and highly rigid body, has enhanced the fundamental performance of the new RZ by achieving optimal weight distribution through ideal placement of the battery and motor, according to Lexus, which should give it a unique driving signature like all of the brand's models.

Refreshed and Ready

Finally, we have the recently-revealed 2023 UX 250h, which brings urban dweller style and improved driving dynamics for the upcoming model year. Enhancements to the hybrid crossover include the addition of Lexus Interface, a larger touchscreen, and Lexus Safety System+ 2.5.

Enhanced Appeal

“The new UX aims to enhance the appeal of electrified vehicles, especially Hybrid EVs, by further evolving the driving experience and advanced safety equipment in a uniquely Lexus way,” said Mitsuteru Emoto, chief engineer, Lexus International. “With thorough attention to detail, the Lexus team worked to develop these two key features so that customers around the world could enjoy a sense of luxury and a comfortable, safe and secure driving experience.”
