Are these both basically the same? If so then the cheaper the better I guess. I appreciate both of your inputs and links to purchase on Amazon. The camera gets delivered Monday so I’ll wait for your response on which one to buy. When I have both parts I’ll head to my buddy that is much better at this stuff then me to install, I will post pics. Thanks again.

Sliding under the truck on a 10 degree day wasn’t fun especially when it’s hard to determine if this is the crankshaft position sensor or not. It looks like it but can anyone confirm? Acrad attached a picture that shows a cover over the crankshaft sensor and this doesn’t have it. Thinking it is closer to the front of the truck

These wheels were mint 2 winters ago. I keep them fairly clean and use poorboy wheel sealant but the road chemicals are proving too much.

These are my summer chrome wheels that don’t see winters, still mint from 2011. So in closing it’s well worth having a winter setup IMO. Steel wheels would be ideal but I got a good deal on the T4R limited hyper silver wheels.

So I had a rattle from the back of the truck that sounded like classic heat shield loose or broke. I went under near the rear of the truck and the smaller heat shield in the picture was just laying on the top of the exhaust pipe where it bends and comes out near the rear wheel well. As you can see classic corroded bolt holes. So I removed it. I’m sure I can use some JB Weld steel epoxy and it would be good. The nuts are rusted too bad to remove. Can I just leave it off?

It worked out well, and the SS tubes I was talking about are above the shield.

I went up from 235/65/18 to these 245/55/19’s and havnt noticed any change in MPG’s, ride or really handling either. I just liked the finish and what should be better durability for when I had chrome on my GX.

This picture was actually taking on a sunny day with the moonroof shade open, on cloudy days it appears the wheel is all black except maybe the very top of the wheel, hopefully that’s from the sun or where it “worn” from my hands
