There is a slot for the wire on the adapters so pay attention to the direction that the speaker needs to be mounted in order to line up with the door connection.

Push the strip down on the door and pop the door panel back on (be sure to check that the clips are seated properly).

To reinstall the panel you need to remove the black metal window strip. This piece has to be pushed down on the door and it also has the typical Lexus clips for the door panel, so the 2 needed directions will not work while it is attached to the panel (I hope that makes sense).

Remove the plastic window pillar triangle. There is only 2 screws to remove, 1 behind the door release(remove the plastic cover) and the 2nd is behind the arm rest that was removed.
Now, just pull the door panel off starting from the bottom.

I didn't find anything like the Metra speaker connectors for the dash so I spliced it.

Pry the left and right up from the front and pull it toward you. The center has clips all the way around.

Hmm..4 wires, I was hoping that the head unit processed this. I didn't change tweeters out. I am happy with the highs I now have.

The window strip had the typical Lexus clips on it that the panel does but, it also needs to be pushed on the door from the top so the two securing pieces need to be separated.

Pull the door panel off starting from the bottom. You will still have 2 cables (door lock and door release) I just let it hang with something supporting the weight...well most of the time.

The rear door is the same procedure but with out the window pillar and the need to deal with the courtesy light.

To remove the front doors panels you only have 2 screws, 1 behind the door release handle and 1 behind the arm rest. remove the window/door lock panel and unplug it and remove the triangle piece at the front window pillar. The courtesy light can be removed now or unplugged later.

I didn't find adapters online (didn't try to hard) so I used a quick splice available at any parts store.

4 wires on the tweeter? I was hoping that the head unit would handle the processing. I skipped this for now.
