Before mod. These are the 3 fittings that connect passenger front bumper to the front/inner fenderwell. Center one with thick rubber washer is a bolt, the other two are screws. The left one is the outermost, the right one is innermost and least visible. As seen from in front and beneath vehicle

Driver side, rear of front fender well. Large-face Silver bolt with rubber washer replaces the factory screw and its plastic recessed thread assembly. This is before being pulled back from the inside.

Tightened up with wing nut. Zip tie to be pulled back, giving more clearance

The running board to frame bracket that is the attachment point for everything to be pulled towards. Maybe a little over a foot from the screw. I recommend thicker, longer zip ties.

Zip ties from "running board-to-frame bracket" on left forward to my inner fenderwell bolt (not visible). Notice how body mount on right of pic angles forward the more lateral/"up" it is. This is one reason why negative offset wheels and wheel spacers create more rub with much larger tires. The other is design of inner fenderwell has less space as it reaches laterally to metal fender.

I used wingnuts held with needlenose pliers as this was more proof of concept and needed to undo everything if it was a fail. It is tough to get the bolt threaded, but takes only a couple of minutes. Can be done with a washer/nut instead but will require equal patience. Toughest part of the whole job by far is getting it to thread the bolt at first.

The infamous screw at the rear side of the front fenderwell along with its push-in threaded part that is recessed in the fenderwell that you can be pry out with flathead screwdriver. I took out both pieces and replaced with flat head bolt in pic below

The big hole is factory in the inner fender liner, the smaller one closer to edge is new one I made once pushing liner forward.. This is the outermost, most lateral part of the fender liner. If you go further than this to the edge with the new hole, you might not be able to slip the factory s-clip back on which retains the screw.

Other view of outermost hole in fender liner. New hole is the small one. Factory S-clip with screw hole attached to bumper cover can be reused if you don't go closer to the edge more than this.

Innermost fender liner screw holes. The small one on bottom is the one I did. You do this after doing the outermost hole and outting that one back together. It doesn't really push much farther on passenger front as the windshield washer tank prevents much more useful push.

After mod on passenger side Outermost re-used screw and s-clip only half visible on extreme left. Middle bolt just taken so not seen (also reused). Innermost screw and s-clip reolaced with silver bolt, washers and nut on right side. (I will change the hardware to more flushmount for this inner hole as this was just for mock-up)

265/70/18 (32.6" tall vs 30.5" for stock tires). No rubbing ever.
This mod should also stop any rubbing for 275/65/18 (32.2" tall but slightly wider).
