Hey guys,

I am really sorry if this has been posted before,but I don't know what to search it on.

Are 19" tires supposed to last as long say 16" tires? I don't think tires over 17" would last as long in terms of tread wear compared to 19"+..

What do you guys think?

It depends on the specific tire but in lower profile sizes (read 19 inch) tires are almost always performance tires made with soft tread compounds for the ultimate grip.

 

i'm not sure on this but i think they all last about the same. it may look like 19's go faster but that's probably because they generally have a lower profile so it looks like it wears out faster. i'm not sure on this though.

 

So other than the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and the Falken Azenis ST115.....what other performance tire offers above-average treadwear?

 

It depends on the size but in general a performance all season tire will last longer then a max performance summer tire.
