Default Powder coating question

I just bought some Rays Gram lights 57dr in silver. This is a one piece aluminum wheel. However, I want to powder coat them to a semi-gloss black color before I put them on. 2 questions

1. Do the inside stickers with the specs get affected? Do they cover these stickers so that they remain intact during the whole process? I do not want to lose these stickers (as a means of authenticity).

2. Do the engravings get a nice clean look after the process? Here are the engravings in question: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...3&d=1386616309

I called a few shops here in SoCal and it seems to run $320-$350 for the set of 4 wheels. However, there are extreme variations in completion time, from 1-2 full days to a whole 7 days. What's the average/safe point? I read the longer the better so the powder has proper time to cure. But is 7 days excessive and 1-2 days a rushed job?

Thanks!

The stickers would have to come off before coating, if you are careful maybe they can be saved and put back on after but not likely. The engravings should be fine, as long as you have a knowledgeable person doing the coatings and they don't put a bunch of powder to fill the engravings. As far as turn around time, that all depends on how much business the shop has and how much they can properly coat at once (more than one oven and powder gun and how many people they have working etc.) If a shops main point or only point of business is powder coating and they have enough equipment or very few jobs going on at the time, its very possible to have a completely flawless product in a day or two.
