ha, this is a stupid question but i'm just curious... i just paid 3 dollars for one of those black clips that secures down the engine covers. how many of you guys out there actually have every single clip? maybe it's cuz i'm ocd about my car..

Random question for reals but I have every single one of them except for the ones that hold the stock intake scoop cause I don't have that anymore thank you ATI haha

ha $3 seems a little high for just ONE of those clips!! Was that from Lexus?
I honestly lost like 4 of them and eventually just took all that damn plastic out =P

i dont use them, its a lot easier/faster to take off the covers if i work on anything, for ex the lights

When I bought my IS a month ago, it was missing one, and 2 were broken, so I bought some from sewell, to replace them. It was just bugging me to see some missing. Haha

me too. i have all of them in a plastic bag in my garage. the covers stay in place with the hood closed.

All are in place, but they are a mix of the older (original) and the newer (replacement for broken ones) style of clips.
