Default S-04 Pole Position Input

Hey guys!

Just recently ordered a pair of Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Positions to replace the rear of my 06 IS350 and I was wondering if anyone on the forum has any experience with these Tires.

I've heard good things about these tires on other cars but I can't seem to find much input for these tires when applied to our 2is's. I just want to be sure I didn't mess up and buy "OK" tires, as I'm mainly looking for a grippier tire setup. I do plan on buying the fronts soon too.

Any and all input is appreciated. Especially from those currently riding on these tires. thank you

Edit:
I currently have RE760 sports on the rear that came with the car when I bought it. Does anyone know how the grip compares with the RE760 vs the S-04 pole positions?

Thanks, Appreciated!

I've read that thread before actually in my search for more information on these tires. Your thread is actually what convinced me to give these a try so thank you

However I'm curious as to how much of an upgrade these maybe to my current RE760 sports on an IS350

I have had these tires now for about 30,000 miles and I may get another 10,000 out of them. The S-04s have great grip in wet and dry conditions. The only issue I had with them is when they're cold they feel uneven. That goes away after warming up. My MPG also went down by 1.5.

I had the Hankook Ventus V12s before. They got me 53,000 miles. The only issue I had with those were you could feel the weak sidewalls even though they never experienced any damage.

I took both to the track and around close to 14 flat in both. I don't remember the conditions on those days though, so hard to compare. I expected the S-04s to be faster since they seem to have more grip. I'm sure I'll try them again before they're gone. The weather will be nice for a short while.
