Runflat tires
I think runflats are a type of tire where if they get punctured it won't really leak air... it does a little, on cars like sc430 that have runflats, there is a tire presure sensor to let you know when a tire is punctured, after there is a puncture the tire can still drive around for a while, probably hundreds of miles... maybe more. It is also good so you don't have to carry a spare. I would never get them on my car though.
Runflats are not a great thing...yet
Currently, runflats are not a good option but newer models are better every year.
Runflat 17's feel like 18" tire and wheels with same overall diameter.
So they ride like crap, cost alot, cost more to repair, and need special sensors.
