some friends were mentioned the name, I thought I read somewhere on CL before where some members had problems with them, so I wanted to verify if anyone know if these people are legit.

 

If you mean "Intro Forged Wheels" (now going by "iForged USA).... RUN, and RUN fast! After 1001 head aches, phone calls, lawyer, the Irvine fraud and criminal investigations dept, etc etc etc. I finally got my $$ back.

Im not going to go into full details about it but I HIGHLY suggest NOT dealing with them at all!! People from just about every larger forum based site out there have had problems with them! Wrong wheels, crappy build, messed up finishes, wrong bolt patterns, wrong hubs, passing off USED PARTS as new!! Search the Acura, VW, Audi, or Porsche forums and you will find something about this shop!

Here is a link to mine and a few other VW guys nightmare. Yes the thread ended up being almost 20 pages but there is a ton a reasons why! If you REALLY want to know what these guys are all about, how they treated us, and esp what type of history they have (police and fraud wise) you'll look over every page! It esp get good on page 13! That is when the REAL truth comes out!

I will not go back and forth with any of Vinces friends or partners that jump into this thread. There is a small group of them that have like 4 different names each from the different sites and pretend like they are customers etc and stick up for them left and right.

lex430, I am just posting this info b/c you asked if anyone was familiar with them. ALL of my details are strictly from my personal dealings on this. NOT one word of it is second hand! I wouldn't wish what I went through with these guys / shop on anyone! Please be careful...

 

i don't think they look very good either. given the few statements of problems, that's at least two reasons for myself to stay away.
