Does anyone know if Work Wheels (specifically Rezax 2) have less of a lip if it is DDC vs. just a regular reverse lip. I'm thinkng of 20x10r/20x8.5f and I love the DDC look, but I think you can get a deeper lip with the regular reverse lip...probably at least 3".
DDC bolts will make the lip "appeared" to be a bit smaller than the regular mono-tube non-ddc rims...for 20s, DDC will cost ~$450 more as well...but DDC does look very unique though..
i would just stay with non-ddcs...after i imporetd wei's 20" work equips, non-ddc with super duper chromes...they looked great to me
Manaray- tat's what I thought as well, but the lip would be smaller than by almost 50%. and with my current Superchrome setup, all the bolts shine brightly with amazing details. Example for DDC cuts off great % lips are Lowenhart BS5 DDC, with my friend's 19x9 19x10 it looks like NO LIPS AT all.
DDC is more elegant and advanced, but Bigger lip is more sporty IMO.
Can one of you guys verify if Work does or does not do "custom" widths???? On their web-site they dont show lip sizes, but, I know that with a super low disc(O-type) Equip or Rezax, the max advertised lip is about 80-90mm....
gsintensive - you must be talking about the front lip? I've seen 10" rears and the lips looked ok to me...could be that your friend got high disk 10's???
Either way, it's a NICE wheel! So when do we get to see pictures!?? Huh? Huh?
haha thanks Chris. Man the dealer progastinated again, i won't get my car back until tomorrow (that's what he said) I got my digi-camera ready, so tomorrow night SHALL work = P
anywayz, still haven't decided on rims choice chris?
