Hey everyone, I need some help with a quick question.

Stock 2g GS3 comes with 215/60R16. I just bought 18x9" rims all around. I'm attempting to keep a decent size sidewall with an agressive width - I plan on being stock height for a while.

Any ideas on what size tires I can go with? Thanks!

It all depends on the offsets of the wheels...what are the offsets?

35mm offset, 5x114.3

Well on a normal staggered 18X8.5 F and 18X9.5 or 10 R setup the recommended tires would be 245/40 and 275/35.

Well... they are 9" all around... so maybe 255/45/18? That's ultimately what I'd like but if that doesn't make sense someone please chime in.

To retain OEM diameter, you will need 245/40. You may run into rubbing issues with 255/45 (or even 255/40) in the front.

yeah 255 will definitely have issues in the front... max is 245 for the gs in the front i believe. I had 245/40 in the front and i had major rubbing issues. then again my car was dropped to the point where i had no wheel gap

So with stock height/mild drop (maybe 1.8" front 1.5" rear roughly) a 245/40/18 would fit alright?

255 is not the problem, 40 vs 45 is. 40 is the spec, and 255 just makes it slightly larger than stock, no biggie. but 45 would make it 1" bigger overall

if you stay with stock diameters but rub, usually it's coz' of offset?
