So I currently have 5 TPMS sensors, which include the 5th one for the spare tire in my 2010ES350.
While the sensors have been replaced in my main 4 tires, the 5th one likely has a dead battery and is not reading anything in the Techstream software.
That said, while I have the Techstream software working on my car without issues, I actually have very little experience programming with it (I never want to mess anything up).
With the software, is there a simple way to program the car to think it only has 4 TPMS sensors instead of 5? It appears I can modify the values, I just didn't know if it was safe to remove a TPMS, so I thought I'd ask here first.
@amp3d Did you end up figuring this out? I tried to replace the 5th TPMS sensor ID with 0s and that did not work. Surely there's a way to configure the software to believe the car doesn't have a spare tire?
