as for the water.. get water traps to minimize water capture in tank.
and the easiest way to remove water from tank like yours.. remove one of the fittings and get a thin 1/4 hose and suck it out lol.. preferably clear hose so u can see it before ingesting it.
I think I'm just dumb (don't confirm it) but where would do I put the water trap? I was only given one with the Accuair kit, but I have two compressors. Do I need to get another one?
The water traps are going to go after the compressors but before the tank. If you have two compressors, I always hear, its best to have one water trap for each. Hope that helps!!

That's what I originally thought but started getting confused because there was a bunch of debate on different places to put it.
Thank you! Looks like I'll be picking up another one then.
Sorry ADPearl3GS but that not correct. You need to have check valves between the compressors and tank, not water traps. Having the traps between the compressors and tanks will not really protect anything. Moisture will still build in your tank and and go to solenoid manifold which is their #1 killer. You MUST put your water traps between the tank and solenoid manifold and a drain at the bottom of the tank. This will protect your solenoids and allow you to drain the water from your tank as well.

The there is no reason to have a water trap between the compressor and tank. The water traps are supposed to protect moisture going to the VU4 manifold.
Here's a installation diagram from Accuair. I'll post up a photo of my setup when I got time later today.
geeznuts you sir are an innovator. I just had to use that drain setup for mine too thanks for the great idea
mililani00 I drain my water traps about once a week and tank about once a month even though I have an aluminum tank.
