Default Honest Answers...

I've been frequenting this site for a little bit. I like the VIP look you guys have. I have a question about riding quality. I wanted to know the answers to these if possible. Thanks , really for myself when I get rims if it would be viable to do this as far as eliminating rubbing on the rear by adjusting camber.

1) Do you ride daily with your car lowered?
2) How often do you scrape the rims?
3) When riding low is your suspension somehow not allowing the fender to drop when going over bumps or uneven payment, so it won't hit the rim?
4) How much tread wear does riding with the cambers like that do to the rear tires? and how much camber change is okay, if at all? i.e. getting new tires more frequent, rotating tires..etc...

Thanks for the info.

Some of us are on airbags and some are on coilovers. Bags and coils have their own advantages and disadvantages.

1. I am on coils with Roberuta cups, so I ride low everytime.
2. I don't drive my car as much as any of you guys do so I don't really scrape my wheels.
3. I used to have the plastic fender liner but I took them off because they always rub on my tires when I slam the car.
4. If you are going to drive your car on a daily basis you really do not want a lot of negative camber, but if you can afford to change tires every few months then go for it. lol.

I suggest that you go with airbags since it gives you flexibility of raising the car to your preferred ride height, slam when parked and even ride low at times. lol.

im on bags also.
i drive slammed all the time
try not to curb the wheels, on;y did it once
camber is something that will allow you to go with deeper wheels
my rear tires last about 4,000 miles, fronts maybe 10,000
i daily my car so i get about 3-4 months out of my rears
cant really rotate the tires cuz rears are wider than the fronts
as far as rubbing, just be carfeul when you turn in a dip

If you've ever driven a lowered car, it's almost like the samething (in my opinion). driving at an angle into parking lots and driveways, etc...as for me...
1) i'm always tucking when daily driven
2) Never! (although my wife has with my car)
3) it all depends on your desired camber and offset of the wheels, but sometimes one might have to pull the fenders to prevent fenders rubbing on wheels
4) like 'MrExecutiv' i don't daily drive my GS so my tires have lasted a couple of years for me

I made an agressive turn on a dip and caught my fender

I dont have agressive wheel fitment, so no curb rash. My rims are pretty messed up, but that was before air

1. YES all day, everyday! drive slammed. scrape daily!
2. NEVER, if you curb your wheels, thats a big no-no
3. When We drive slammed, our wheels camber in
4. Our tires last 400-600miles per side on -13 degree camber, on -5 degree camber we last about 1200 miles. always to remember to check your tires so you can flip them.
