I'm thinking about running a small tank to fit into my spare well easily, the current 5 gal tank is too high, making the trunk floor raised..... I was thinking about running 2.5 gal or pancake tank, but I need 200 psi... then I saw Viair have a 2.5 200psi, but it only have 6 ports and don't know about any drains....
anyone know where to get a tank that's small enough to fit into the well to make a stealth install and holds 200 psi and have ports for drain etc?
also how long does it take to fill? from 0 to full
Running two allowed me to go up MUCH faster since there was more reserve (it was a hopeful guess doing it and it ended up working). People kept saying I had problems with my system, but there isnt. My problem was the compressors would turn on with just one up and even then I couldnt get a full "up" on one push . I was getting tired of them turning on every time I got in the car and too didnt want to prematurely kill the compressors with them turning on so frequently. As for going from 0 to full, Well I only did that once and I didnt time it,but going from when the switch kicks them on to full, it takes about 3 mins. Basically its running 1 480c per tank so the numbers match pretty close to what Viair states the fill time is for one compressor to one 5 gal tank. So its about 10 minuets to fill from 0 to full. They may be on longer now, but rarely turn on. I can get a good 3-4 fully inflated raises before they turn on at 165psi and thats running at 200 psi. Im trying to sell these so I an get a pair of Air Zenith's in there so i can double my fill time but good luck to me with that feat.
