what mods do you need to consider yourself a VIP?

and how much does it cost to paint your car another color, even under the hood, and how does that work when they paint under the hood too?

When it comes down to it, VIP style is stance and wheel fitment. Everything else is just extra's. You could order the whole Junction Produce catalog and if you don't have the wheel fitment and stance right it won't work.

it's quite simple:

-get LOW. Slammed on coils or air.
-19's or 20s with near flush (if not past flush) fitment, some camber in the rear
-nice looking exhaust tips to match with a nice subtle kit
-ONLY after you have all of the above, move on to table, curtains, neckpads, etc.

if you're pulling 500 a month....forget about doing anything close to legitimate VIP styling. It'll take you a minimum of 60 years to get a well put together VIP GS built at that rate.

OP
start off with a drop and some aggressive wheels, keep working it one mod at a time.. i'm a university student atm.. don't have a huge income, bought some wheels (not anywhere close to being aggressive, i can get spacers.. or new wheels later) and bought some coilovers.. those are my 2 major purchases for the LS so far
anything's possible, you might not be able to mod it at a fast rate.. but you'll get it over time

What color is your car right now? Do you go to SGHS?
