VIP is cool and all but I think you should modify your car to your taste and the way you like it, not what a trend or fad tells you to do.

Like a typical fashion trend, it will end and a new trend will come and there you go again, chasing the fashion train.

No, that is the thing, people want to be the up and coming trend, that way they can say they were in it before it became a trend.

One thing is always true, if you have to ask, then you aren't.

VIP is the total package meaning nothing looks out of place. With that being said, your car is pretty clean and you are using quality parts and wheels (just not aggressive enough imo). Im not a huge fan of the grill though

If you slam your car on air suspension and put some spacers on there, it would be vip.

+1

Was gonna say the same thing.

Your car is your car; who really cares if you fit in a style or not.

How much would you GS experts recommend spacing out the wheels given a 19x10 +42 and 19x8.5 +38 setup? I don't mind shaving the fender but don't want to do anything extreme to it. Also what tire sizes should I run once they are spaced out?

Thanks

And the other question is what would my car be considered?

umm, my guess is that its not as crazy as VIP style. But like a conservative vip if that makes any sense. I'm not sure if its a real term, just something ppl made up on VSC for ppl who werent "VIP" yet.

With different rims, and maybe a little lower, you'd be VIP. Try these on for size.

I do agree with comment about modding the car how "you" feel. But just to add my 2 cents in. TRUE Japanese "VIP" cars are widebodied, have super aggressive offsets, basically waaay out of the ordinary. Americans have adopted the "VIP" trend in a little different way. The "EXE" style if anyone is wondering is the "executive" style, which is what we in america have come to consider as being vip. I myself like the executive look because it's nice and simple but still different. But as far as your car is concerned, it is on it's way to the executive look.

I would say I switched over from the offsets you have to pimprascals old wheels which were the weds ... so I would add a 20 - 25 mil spacer on all 4 wheels to get the look you are going for ...

Since I have the jp fender(wider) i have 19x9 front with 25 offset with a 25 mil spacer which = 19x9 0 offset .......

+1 I really like it, especially the retrofit. Everytime I see it I lean more towards selling the Q45's I've got sitting here and trying the LS460's somewhere down the line.

slam it, space it out 15-20mm, shave the rear, roll the front and try to get 215/35/19 up front and 235/15/19 out back

if you dont like how it looks, go from there to make it look VIP enough for you.

just so ypu know youre current wheels are worthy
