Question Crown emblem on a LS400

Just a thought to see what opinions are on this.
If you took the Toyota crown grille emblem which is a crown and put it on an LS 400 . It is a beautiful symbol just like the Griffin for the Soarer/SC .

From a purist perspective it is wrong. It is not like putting a ES300 badge on a GS430 .
The crown majesta saloon and the LS400 are almost identical but the last crown had some amazing headlights. Same V8 but i think it came in a 6 cylinder also.

the emblem

Looks very similar to a LS400

The better looking headlights

Unless you put on a crown front, don't put the crown emblem.

It is more of a question of debate than all seriousness. I am as likely to walk down the street with a "L" badge gold chain as i would have a Toyota Crown emblem on my grille .
I really do think it is a really nice emblem and wish they made something similar for the LS.

140S Crown = sister car of 14 Aristo as you can tell that the Aristo chassis code is JZS147
150S Crown = MarkII/Chaser/Cresta base
170S Crown = Progres/110 series MarkII
S180 Crown = MarkX/Crown Majesta
S200 Crown = I have no idea...
I may be wrong but almost sure.

LS and Crown? No way. Celsior was always given a heirarchical class above the Crown ALL THE TIME. I'd give the Crown badge to a Camry before a LS since the name Camry is derived from the Japanese word fro Crown; "Kanmuri".

Avalon in Japan is a "Pronard" (besides the first gen) which doesnt exist anymore. It's actually a quite popular car in Japan since it is really "USDM" and "lug (damn japanese and their pronunciation)"

Are you sure on the models of the Crown? I thought that was just the chassis code for the Crown itself.
