Help w/ Tire Sizing for modurate VIP stretch look.
Thanks Everyone
Yeah i need to get spacers. Maybe a 5mm in the front and 10mm for the rear. Will I need to roll the fenders too? Hmm????
Back to the subject. Here are better pictures of the tires. I hope this thread can help others.
take off the wheels to find out what the offsets are. i believe HRE has these engraved on the wheels. just post the numbers and someone here can give you the exact offset.
once you get the offset numbers, you can find out which size spacers you would need. i guess it depends on how much you want the lip to stick out.
you may be good with 5mm up front and 10mm on the back. you may also need to cut some of the rear fender to get the VIP look. i hear some people just grind down the rear fender with a sander and this is a fairly easy job.
i would not roll the fender because you run the risk of paint chipping and the fender may get deformed. cutting or sanding is the way to go.
as for spacers, go with H&R but you may need to change out the stock studs with longer ones. these should be hub centric so no steering shimmy.
