I was wondering if the cablegate controversy regarding the corrosion of the cable connected to the rear MGR is the same design that is on the RAV4, Venza and Highlander.

 

I’m pretty sure it’s only affecting models with electric AWD because the failure is where the big cable has a connection to the rear electric drive motor. It’s an Orange cable that runs to the back of the car underneath, and the Jack sort of faces up.
