Congrats.

For my '21 ES, I didn't even need floss for the debadge. Just peeled right up w/ my fingers. Any adhesive left peeled right up too. But my car was also fresh off the assembly line.. like really fresh. 6/21 build date and brought it home first week of July. I'm sure that helped.

Easy peasy when the double sided tape is still soft and new. After a few years of hot and cold cycles, the 3M eraser wheel is the easiest way to go.

Somewhere in a previous life, I was a psychic with the power of fore sight...
...and the clues(set of black lug nuts) below is making my inner psychic senses tingle...

Oh crap, no lug wrench with these run flat tires and no spare.

My inner psychic was correct again. My inner psychic knew something was up, when I ordered a set of black lug nuts..

So I pulled the trigger on a set of wheels for my UX250h(18"x8" white Konig Oversteer). No need to buy new tires, with less than 2k miles on these. So I stuck with the stock 18" wheel size, to maintain the same ride comfort(the main reason I purchased the UX250h in the first place), over a set of 20" wheels. Not being too fond of shiny stuff on my cars, I went with a set of white wheels again. Eventually, I'll get all the shiny stuff removed or covered and into a white/black theme, like my Prius.

Having moved from a TRD lowered Prius with 17" wheels, that rode like a tank, to the more pleasurable river boat ride of the UX250h, I didn't want to wander too far from stock and drastically decrease the ride comfort. If I went with the 20" wheels, I know I would have eventually lowered the UX250h, which would have reduced the ride comfort too much.

Now I need patience, Konig is not scheduled to begin production on the white Oversteer wheels until the 2nd week of November.

Time to figure out if I can go full hybrid incognito mode with some extra Grazio & Co badges I have from my Prius...

Hmmmmmm, I can smell the smoke coming out of my ears from thinking too hard...

The front emblem could easily fit without any modification... The rear emblem will need some thought to make it fit.

Does anyone find the Lane Assist/Lane Centering function somewhat counter-intuitive? I don't mind the Lane Assist letting me drive by braille, with the steering wheel vibration, but the Lane Centering is not for me. The Lane Centering makes me feel like I am weaving back and forth down the road, constantly fighting the steering wheel. After a 3 hour drive, my hands and wrists were tired from the constant battle with the steering correcting my driving. So after a little searching in the settings, I found where I could turn off the Lane Centering function and maintain the Lane Assist.

Since I live in the mountains, I like to fudge the lanes a little. The Lane Centering doesn't like it when I fudge the inside of a corner, going over the double yellow line...

Just received a box with side window visors I ordered last week. Now I just need a warm day, or use a hair dryer to warm the window trim, to apply them for maximum stickiness of the double sided tape.

Here's praying for warm day without rain SOON...

I'm still in the market of the in-channel window visors. Unfortunately none pop up. I've seen one on ebay but not keen on those too much.

too bad weathertech doesn't have them and doesn't plan to make them anytime in the near future.

I've had good luck with the tape on versions, so far. As long as it's warm enough when I apply them, I haven't lost any off my cars(Civic EX, Prius). I'll probably wait 'til later next week when we have a few warm days in the forecast to apply them. Somewhere between now and then, I'll do a quick mockup with masking tape to get an idea in my head what they will look like on the UX250h.

Here's another (mis)adventure with a "look Ma, no tools mod" that came in under $5 total. These Door Extension Limiter Covers are listed for multiple Toyota applications, but I have had them on my Prius and the bracket looked the same size and dimensions to me, so I took the gamble on the $5 and went ahead and ordered them. These just snap on over the mounting bolt and bracket. I know, no one will actually ever notice or ever see these covers, but I like the finished look of the covers over the naked bolt and bracket.

Sunny and a wee bit cool, with rain in the forecast over the next couple of days. I need a little patience and wait for some warmer weather for maximum stickiness and adhesion of the double sided tape, before I mount the window visors. Forecast is looking good for the middle of next week with a few days in the upper 70's. Until then, my masking tape mockup will have to do. Maybe my wheels will be manufactured and shipped by then.

Instructions were not included with this mod...

But somehow, I figured it out on my own...

Can you provide some information about those covers? I'd like to get some for my own. Thanks for your posts!

Door Extension Limiter Covers

1 set is 4 pieces($1.45). I added the extra $2.87 for standard shipping, over the super economy option, otherwise it can take several months to receive them.

Last day of rain in the forecast today, with the weather expected to get into the upper 70's-80's through the weekend. This warmer weather will give me the chance to mount the window visors I received late last week. Now where are the wheels I ordered? The last time I checked, Konig was supposed to begin production the 2nd week of November...

I know, patience is a virtue(supposedly).
