Default Dealer Service Pet Peeve

What else - oil overfilling! This dealership consistently overfills on oil changes. On my just-delivered CPO, same with about over half a quart extra. I don't know about the operating characteristics of Hybrids (our first), but I'm **** about liquid levels so I always suck the extra oil out with an electric pump...

Otherwise, Lexus service is the bomb!

I drove fleet cars for years and when I retired in March of 2020, I need a car and bought my UXh the first of June. I have received excellent service from Lexus!

Since getting our 2020 UX 250h 10K service, we have water discharge after a long drive using A/C. It is coming from a drainage rubber pipe aft of the engine on the passenger side. (USA LHD). It is clear water not coolant. Any ideas why this started just after having free Dealer (Santa Barbara, CA) service? No issues after 5K service but that was from selling dealership an extra 100 miles from home (Van Nuys, CA)

This is perfectly normal. It should have been draining the whole time. Maybe the dealer fixed something. If clogged, you will start getting fungus and annoying smells coming out of your vents. BTDT on a previous Lexus...

That is normal and all vehicles do that. Even your home AC discharge water.

Sadly, service management misses the point. For less than $30 in cost for the (bulk) oil and 15 minutes of labor, they would have harvested a mountain of goodwill, instead of arguing with an unhappy customer. They turn it into a blind "us against them" exercise...
