Joining the UX Club...
This past weekend, my wife and I drove 300 miles to the Lexus Dealer where we had bought 3 previous Lexus from. My wife's NX was leased (bad mistake) and we're turning it in. We had bought an RX, GX and then her CT200 from that dealer.. Great experience, felt we got a fair deal...then we moved to DFW area and went to a "local" Lexus dealer and traded her CT in for a NX. That was NOT a great experience, don't feel I got a great deal...but we did it anyways.
Turn the clock ahead 4 years and we went back to our "old faithful" and got her a 2020 UX250h premium (non-nav) in Caviar with birch interior. They had a couple used UX's (non-hybrids) and a new 2020. I was very impressed with the pickup of the UX (compared to the CT) and we decided to see if we could get a hybrid. It will take some time for the gas savings to make up for the premium, but I like knowing if gas prices go up it will help and also Toyota hybrids usually hold their value well. As others have said, there don't seem to be many around, so we gave them the color combo's we liked and they were able to find one. We feel we got a fair deal, no back-and-forth and they were always transparent and the numbers made sense.
It'll be delivered either at the end of this week or next.
Anyone have any pictures of theirs with mud guards? For some reason, I really want them but they don't seem very popular. Pro's vs. con's? TIA
