My mirror has the extra small button on the right hand side bottom that shows a green light when on and is dark when turned off. However, the compass that is supposed to show in the rear view mirror does not show. The owner's manual does not solve this for me. Any ideas? My UX has many extras, and I think if it didn't have the compass option, it would not have the button.

 

The green light on the bottom means the auto dimming function for your rear view mirror ( and possibly your side mirrors) is turned on. I think you won't have the compass if you have the factory navigation option.
