Default CEL code P11EE just popped up

Driving home from the hospital and the CEL came on. Message is to go to the dealer. Car drives fine but I pulled the code and it came up P11EE Air-Fuel ratio imbalance.

I google it and seems like only Tacomas has this issue. The Tacoma forums all say it a bad valve and the valve and cylinder needs to be replaced, which is costly. I've seen anywhere from $8k to $13.5k.

Has anyone else come across this error code?

My car:
2019 UX250H base
Roughly 85k km or 53k miles.

Update on my P11EE check engine light code. Techstream will know what the exact issue is, turns out mine was port side.
I had all 4 port fuel injectors changed. My god is it like a totally new car now. I don't feel at all the swap between electric and engine. Not even at a light. It runs silky smooth and quiet. HUGE difference from before where the engine shake rattled and rolled. Warranty is 2 years or 40K km (i think it was) for the injectors.
Premium fuel in the car from now on.

My '19 250H has never had this issue and I'm similar mileage, but have run regular fuel - which is only Costco, Shell or Mobil.

Sorry to hear this happened to you though I do not believe premium fuel would change much of anything.

I hope it doesn’t happen you or anyone else.

I’m not going to open that debate of premium vs regular. Everyone should use what they can afford or feels Comfortable to them. The car doesn’t take a lot of fuel unlike my v6 venza lol

interesting. I have the 250h (2021/20022), similar mileage, run on regular entirely. Hope to not run into this

Only if the premium fuel is top tier and the regular is not.

Top tier has more detergents than regular or off brand.
