Default UX200 2021 Engine noise issue

Hey everyone,

I purchased a used 2021 Lexus UX200 a few months ago, and overall, I love the car. However, there's one engine noise that's driving me crazy.

The sound only appears when slowing down, almost at a stop, or when reversing, but at a very slow speed. Please refer to the video for details.

I took it to an official Lexus garage. At first, they said everything was fine and couldn't find anything. After I insisted, they told me the right engine mount needed to be replaced. After the replacement, the noise significantly improved but didn’t completely disappear, and after a few weeks, it came back.

Has anyone experienced this or have any insights?

I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks!

That is certainly an odd sound and sounds to be from a vibration. I have ever heard that on my wife’s 2019 UHX.

You say your car is a UX so it is all gasoline so engine running all the time, I agree sounds like engine mount again or a drive train issue.

One last question, when the car is in park and you give it some gas does the sound appear or only when moving? I think when it is that noticeable, Lexus should be able to diagnose it fairly quickly.

when I give it gas, the sound disappear. only when I release the break and move slowly. same goes for reverse.

If you can re-create the sound at anytime I would get right into Lexus and have the Service Manager walk out to the parking lot and hear for himself. Definitely is a vibration sound. Good luck, please report back.
