What exactly is the issue?
I purchased a 2021 UX 250 H model about three months ago. A maintenance warning message popped up for the first time however, it did not specify the issue. It just said “Maintenance required. Visit dealer“. Am I left to guess whether I need an oil change, brakes, or if there’s engine or hybrid system trouble? I don’t wanna have to go to the dealership every time I get a message to find out. Am I missing something or is there a trick to obtain further details?

Thanks. So it’s programmed according to mileage and maintenance schedule? If it’s synched with the vehicle, it should still tell you if it’s oil, brakes, tires… I thought there was something wrong with the car, like engine or tranny or other non-maintenance related items. I hope it tells you in that case or has idiot lights that pop up. I didn’t get a hardcopy manual, and trying to navigate the user manual in the vehicle’s electronic system, or online, has proven frustrating since it’s not specific to one model. 🤨

Agreed! I would have thought it would be more specific. I wondered too and crossed my fingers that it wasn't anything serious. Fortunately, the dealer then called me to schedule the maintenance, which was nice.
