Default Just replaced my RFT

At 55k miles my tires were shot. I decided on Continentals - DSW. The noise has been reduced and the ride is smoother. I guess only time will tell if I regret not having run flats but I'm willing to take my chances for the trade offs.

I switched from RFTs to Michelin Cross Climate 2's (amazing here in the midwest), and have zero regrets.

Infinitely better handling and driving dynamics, not to mention yes road noise. I have a small portable jack, air pump and plug/patch kit in my trunk so I'm not concerned.

Triple AAA is pretty inexpensive and worth it imo

The RFT were one of my concerns when I got the car. There are a lot of pros and cons. Some articles say you are not always able to repair them and have to replace, after driving any distance with low pressure. Others say that the handling changes after replacing them with regular tires, as the suspension is turned to the RFT. All that said, I'll be happy when the RFT's wear out, and I can replace with regular tires.
Here in Nevada we sometimes are a long ways between services, so I went for a jack, air pump and looking for a temporary spare (donut) for long trips.
