Default Has anyone seen this alert on the reverse screen?

Hi all, I have a 2020 Lexus UX 250h. I just bought it used and didn't notice this white rectangular box with an exclamation point in it. Does anyone know what it is? I also don't remember if I had the distance lines in reverse or not. Thanks in advance!

Apparently that is an indicator that the Rear Camera Detection is off and has a problem. Can anyone tell me how to access the service menu on the UX?

Happened to me once, my grid lines disappeared and was showing that symbol. Problem fixed itself... probably a temporary software glitch. So basically has to do with the grid lines.

Come to think of it, I believe it happened right after my battery had died on me. After the battery boost, probably took a bit for the software to reset. Note that it was the only time in 3 years that my battery died.

Not if the same for UX in my NX put on reverse gear. turn steering wheel all the way to the left, than turn all the way to the right and again to the left. Don't recall how many time you have to do to sync. You can find this in your user manual.

You may be right and it was the same with my UX. When my grid lines came back, I believe I was reversing and fiddling with my steering.

Did you have a battery problem also? I had let the UX sit for 2 weeks and the battery wouldn't start it. I jumped it and the check engine light came on and it went into the dealership. They checked it, cleared the codes and said nothing was wrong and I needed a battery tender if I left the car sitting. I didn't notice if the grid lines were gone after that. I wish I had payed more attention. I did figure out how to get into the sub menu of the system. Hold the menu button and cycle the headlights 3 times and a menu screen will come up. I played with it a bit with no success on getting the grid lines back..

Yes, my battery completely dyed sitting in the garage during the first winter year covid. After recharge my battery I still had my grid lines but they don't move when i turn my steering wheel.

Do you see grid line icons on the bottom? Did you try playing around with those icons?

Thanks for your input. I see those screens you circled in red, but I can not click on them with the mouse or any button on the mouse.

Sounds like you need to recalibrate and center the review camera guide lines.

Turning the steering wheel from lock to lock while in park should do the trick.
