I just got my 3rd recall notice on my 2024 TX350 AWD. This one is for a fuel tank protector to help avoid fuel leaks in crashes.

Also, I am getting a new fuel door, since mine takes 10-15 clicks to open. I am awaiting receipt of the door by my dealership at which point it will need to be painted to match my vehicle.

I'm surprised their fix is to replace the fuel door. It seems like an issue with the release mechanism. Let us know if it works.

When I brought it in, they added felt pads (which didn't work) and now they're 'waiting on a part'. During the first service, they performed the recall on the fuel tank protector which didn't take long.

 

I hope you're right! My dealer write up said they had to paint it. Maybe they are just saying that to make the wait seem more reasonable.

 

I was also surprised. Putting another door on, unless the door has been improved somehow, would seem to be a temporary fix.
