At 0:35 "clear the transmission programming then it goes way"

Not sure about that.

A few times at a stop when I tried to accelerate it would hesitate for a few seconds.

A few of ChatGPT answer
Hybrid system transition delay
  • The TX500h switches between electric motor and gas engine.
  • When you hit the accelerator, the gas engine may need a moment to kick in.
  • A brief hesitation (1–2 seconds) can happen, but it shouldn’t feel excessive or frequent.
Software / calibration issue
  • Newer models like this sometimes need ECU or hybrid system updates.
  • Lexus has issued updates in the past for throttle response smoothing.
I had a 2018 MDX hybrid and it never had this issue at a stop. It did have an issue on the freeway the RPM would go up and down and software update fixed the issue.

I'll have to ask the service center if there's any updates or if that's normal for the switching from gas to hybrid.

I found this https://www.clublexus.com/forums/att...273d1757446894

I didn't notice a hesitation of 2 seconds. The vehicle would power on the engine at higher rpms.

For lower rpm, it feels almost instant with the electric motors of the hybrid system.

I would try to accelerate and it would pause like it's thinking.

I found this TSB L-SB-0026-25, took my car in for the ML amp replacement and also for the display fix in late 2025, I didn't see if they applied this TSB.

Maybe a pre-2026 thing. Haven't seem it yet, I'll report back if so.

My TX500h is 2024.

There's a thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...0026-25-a.html
