Question Dash Cam Parking Mode (500h Only)

Does anyone use a Dash Cam with Parking Mode enabled? If so, has it drained your battery? I'm trying to decide if I would be better off with a battery system that is hard-wired to charge while the engine is on, and power the camera for parking mode via the battery when the engine if off. My research shows that hybrids require more out of their 12v battery than gas-only vehicles. Any real-world experiences would be helpful!

Also, the RedTiger F77 is larger than most dash cams. Has anyone found an ideal place to mount it that doesn't obstruct the driver's view or annoy the passenger?

Look to see if your dash cam maker offers a voltage cut-off switch - when car voltage drops to a preset setting, power to the dash cam is cut off.

I have Viofo dash cams and they offer a complete line of them. I don't see why you cant use theirs for non-Viofo cams. Just get the one with the correct power connector.
