Default Dash cam power adapter

I plan to see FitDVR dash cam power adapter so I don't have to run the power cord. Does anyone know if I have to remove the battery and if there will be error codes if the battery is removed and reconnected?

You do not have to disconnect the battery to connect your camera. IF you still want to disconnect, go ahead, but you will get the codes and you will have to re-initialize a few things in order for them to work properly afterwards.

I would make sure, before doing anything, that you remove the Micro SD card from the camera and only when there are no lights lit on the camera. The camera continues to record for almost 3 minutes after you have powered off the vehicle. I've been through two Micro SD cards trying to insert or remove SD cards while the camera was still operating.
