Kept getting this annoying message about the front pre-collision sensors. If you turn the vehicle off and back on it disappears for anywhere from 1 to 24 hours,
Shows up at least daily and sometimes multiple times a day.
Dealer says they contacted Lexus and it's a software glitch, being investigated. Their recommendation is to turn off the Auto Stop/Start feature but that only helps a little. Since it's not a safety feature (according to Lexus), no recall.
I’ve had that come up when bugs are splattered on the sensors up front.
I have had this when driving the car though crazy winter weather and the front looks like it was dipped in icing with freezing rain, snow, and road spray. once it defrosted everything worked like normal.

cars these days do all sorts of strange things when the voltage is low in a car. all types of systems will go out of whack. totally normal and glad it was just a new battery that solved it. coming from a lot of german car ownership experiences, I highly recommend people test the battery in a car when lots of electronic gremlins suddenly show up. usually it is a bad battery/alternator or a combination of the two of those...
After many visits to the dealership they finally diagnosed it as a passenger mirror issue. They replaced it and it’s been fine.
in doing so my dash became squeaky so I had them fix that issue too.

this reminds me of an issue I had with my first Q7... the driver assist (blind spot monitor and side exist assist) was acting up and they tracked it down to a bad connection in one of the side view mirror cameras. turns out Audi uses the cameras as part of the blind spot monitoring system. the radar sensors in the bumper see the vehicle approaching from behind and then when the camera sees the car pass your vehicle on the respective side it turns the blind spot light off in the mirror. I wouldn't be surprised if Lexus does something similar. instead of having more sensors in the car, they use the ones already there for the surround view parking camera. makes total sense to me.
Finally!
After a year of being repeatedly being dismissed by the dealer (we've opened a ticket with Lexus, there's nothing more we can do), I went to Lexus.com and sent a description of the issue through the "contact us" option.
Within 24 hours I got a call from a live person in the Lexus Engagement center. They were pleasant, professional and helpful.
Scheduled to meet with a "regional service technician" from corporate next week at the dealership.
Quick update.
Took the TX in yesterday. They scanned and found an obscure DTC, ran a software update and found no codes afterward.
Picked the car up today, the errored occurred again on the way home.
Corporate called to follow up and added the dealer onto the call when I explained. Dealer is getting the car back again on Monday.

Really hope you can get some answers soon. Sucks we're in march now and you've had this issue since june of last year. Pulling for you, been following and will continue to follow your journey. Thank you for sharing.
Back to the dealer again about three weeks ago. They kept the car for a few days then over the weekend.
The description says they found the front radar sensor was not "in the bracket". They replaced the sensor and recalibrated it. Ten days of driving with no re-occurrence.
I'll not wait so long to go to corporate if I ever have another issue like this.
This thread is really helpful - had a similar warning pop up while on my 2024 TX350 Premium (~5800 miles odometer) during a long road trip - see attached pics. Message is slightly different but may just be a recent update. Looks to be related to side impact sensors (?). Took it to the nearest Lexus dealership (Charlotte Lexus - they were *awesome!*) to do a safety check. After reading the vehicle status, told us it was safe to drive althoughsome of the safety features were not available. Stated they would repair if we were going to be in the area for a few days, but we were heading home next day.
Drove 750 miles home without incident, my local dealer picked up today to tackle the problem. Will update when fixed.
