Default Anyone have aftermarket wheels on their TX?

Hi folks,

Wondering if anyone had 20 or 22 aftermarket wheels on their TX yet.

I have to get a winter setup as I'm in Canada anyways and thought I would see what sort of options might look OK and use the stock 20's for the winters and put my existing tires on the new wheels.

Here' a site with few winter setups. The RX looking wheels in a 20 but be nice but not sure. .. and wanted to see if anyone else had done anything yet.

18” winter setup from tire rack. It essentially is same fitment as they spec for a grand Highlander. Here are some pics. I am running a blizzak dmv2. No complaints.

thanks. It was a bit of a gamble but the look works and I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments on it. I’m happy with the setup.

I'm finding conflicting information on the bolt pattern... Did you go 5 x 120 or 5 x 114.3'

As well, I'm looking at 20" with +20 to +25 offset. I'm thinking it should be no issue and fill it out to the sides more but wanted some opinions...

5x120 is the bolt pattern for these vehicles. can't really help with offset. here is the wheel I am running for my winter setup.

Default Painting/Dipping/Powder Coating Premium Wheels

The 20” machined wheels that come with premium TX350 are god awful in my opinion. The wheels on the base model TXs are so much nicer imo. With that being said, has anyone here actually customized the existing wheels with a powdercoat or plasti-dip or something? I’m considering it, I’m not a fan of the chrome machined edges.

ugly “premium” wheels :/

I have 22x9 +32 offset with some 275/45/22 winters. Front are almost flush and the rears sink in maybe 1/4”. I have a set of 24’s that should be going on this week. The bolt patterns 5x120 for sure. For offsets, you need to take into account the width of the wheel too. This offset calculator gives you an idea of where the new wheels will sit. https://www.willtheyfit.com

really curious to see how you think it rides on 24s. seems like it might be a bit rough. would also love pics when you get those on...

Its not as bad as most think, I have 24's on my F150 with a 305/35/24 tire and it does ride a bit rougher but nothing crazy. Everyone of my friends thats been in my truck has said they were surprised that the truck still rode that good. I did go up to a larger tire size for the TX though to gain some sidewall height, the stock 22's side wall is about 4.52" and with the 295/35/24 tire the side wall height is 4.06" so not a massive drop. We only drove on the stock 22's for a couple hundred kms before I switched to winters and the ride on those was good so im confident this new set up will be fine. Im picking them up today and hoping to get them on tonight, ill definitely post pics once on.

live in New England. I drive RX 350. AWD is amazing and locking diff gives you real 4x4. Obviously not knowing how to drive in snow or what to do when getting pulled out must really suck
